+ 位於美國黃石國家公園的超級火山，火山口足足有72公里長、55公里寬，一旦噴發，火山灰足以覆蓋四分之三個美國。園內最大的「大稜鏡溫泉」，又名彩虹溫泉，泉溫高達85°C且含豐富礦物質，有助藻類和含色素的細菌生長，令泉水呈現出藍、綠、黃、橙、橘、紅等色彩，並隨季節變化，像七色彩虹掉落凡間。 Known as a supervolcano, Yellowstone Caldera is situated in Yellowstone National Park, USA. The crater is 72 km long, 55 km wide. Should the volcano erupt, the ashes could easily cover ¾ of the size of the USA. Inside the park, there is the largest hot spring called Grand Prismatic Spring, also known as the rainbow hot spring. The water is easily 85C and rich in precious minerals. Such minerals are conducive for the growth of algae and pigmented bacteria, making the water look blue, green, yellow, orange and red, changing colours in different seasons.
